Separate But Equal...Full Circle...

Separate but equal...Here we go again. The Mayor of Chicago thinks the time has come for the races to be separated...for the good of black male students.

We went through this once already. Then it was white people who said separate but equal was constitutional and it was for a while. Then, after constant pressure by the blacks, it was re-decided it was unconstitutional.It would be bad for male blacks, et al.

Now Mayor Daley has decided it will be best for black male students to have their own school that teaches, you know, things that will help them get jobs; shucking and jiving, rapping... ebonics and black stuff like that.

All seriousness aside, it's going to be interesting to see if it will now once again be constitutional to have a 'Separate But Equal' school.

Daley will say it's not a segregated school; whites can come if they want to, but I don't see many blond haired and blue eyed boys and girls wanting to.
