Defying U.N., Iran Opens Nuclear Reactor

Now for my honest opinion, in case anyone is interested: I believe the United States should invade and take over Iran. We should make an all out assault and completely decimate the nation.
We shouldn't stop until the leaders of Iran surrender unconditionally.
Believe me, that is what it has come to. It's them or us! Now, Let's Roll!

With WHAT, genius? Our armed forces are stretched thin already. Iran has a higher population than Iraq, more mountains than Iraq (great guerilla country), they haven't been worn down by a decade or so of sanctions like Iraq, Russia and China have ties with Iran--China could crash our economy by refusing to continue buying our debt. Even if we reinstituted the draft next Monday, we couldn't get enough soldiers trained fast enough, and the GOP knows damn well such a move would hurt, maybe kill them politically--why do you think they haven't used a draft for the wars we're already fighting?
Face facts, General Jack D. Ripper, we are not Zeus, smiting all who displease us with thunderbolts, nor can we reach such omnipotence.
