Our Boys Have Been Found...

"Bodies of Missing U.S. Soldiers Recovered"

The bodies of two U.S. soldiers reported captured last week have been recovered, and an Iraqi defense ministry official said Tuesday the men were "killed in a barbaric way." The U.S. military said the remains were believed to be those of Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, 23, of Houston, and Pfc. Thomas L. Tucker, 25, of Madras, Ore.

The missing soldiers have been found. Is anyone surprised they were killed? Is anyone surprised as to how they were Killed?

"Iraqi: U.S. Bodies Showed Signs of Torture"

An Iraqi military official said Tuesday that the bodies of two missing U.S. soldiers showed signs of torture, and that men appeared to have been killed "in a barbaric way." Also, the umbrella group for Iraqi insurgents claimed responsibility for the soldiers' deaths.

"We give the good news ... to the Islamic nation that we have carried God's verdict by slaughtering the two captured crusaders," said a statement in the name of the Mujahedeen Shura Council, which groups five insurgent organizations including al-Qaida in Iraq.

Remember the old saying, "He who does not learn from history is doomed to repeat it..."

I remember. Do you have any idea why you should remember that at this time? Of course you don't because it (evidently) doesn't bother you that our kids have to stay in Iraq and continue to be tortured and killed!

Let me refresh your memory and remind you why all this bullshit going on over there right now isn't going to make any difference.

I know some of you can remember when Iran was our bosom buddy, back in the 60s and early 70s and, when the Shah ran the place. Iran was considered one of the most democratic and open countries in the Middle East. We Americams even had companies there manufacturing and selling our products. BF Goodrich Tire Company is an example of that.

"During the 1960's through the early 1970's, Iran was regarded as one of the most open Middle Eastern countries with respect to foreign investment. Investment was sought via a bevy of tax incentives, import protections and guaranteed remitability of profits and investment capital. During this period foreign investors were allowed to hold majority stakes in their ventures and even when minority stakes were held, ownership influence was often boosted by management contracts that provided foreign partners decision making powers."

Then-'oops'-what happened? One day someone woke up and saw the people were becoming free and independent, not a good thing for an allah fearing Muslim. Then,...guess what?

"This state of affairs continued until 1975, with the issuance of legislation that not only declared that all major industrial companies sell 49% of their shares to their workers, farmers or the general public, but that also foreign ownership of Iranian industry be limited, with a maximum 35% equity stake in high technology industries, 25% in general manufacturing and 10% in traditional industrial sectors such as textiles. Following the overthrow of the Shah with the victory of the Islamic Revolution Terror Regime and the subsequent war with Iraq, foreign investment became almost non-existent."

Then in 1979 the Ayatollah Khomeini, the religious leader, took over the government of Iran and the rest is history.

Our friends, the Iranians, stormed the American Embassy and took everyone hostage and the rest is history. If the Hawk, Ronald Reagan, hadn't been elected, those Americans would probably still be captives or worse, be killed. The Ayatollah knew Reagan was a man of his word and would have nuked Iran so he released the hostages. That's the only thing those people understand.

Now all of you people who think Iraq will be a free democratic nation, a friend to the United States, if and when this is all over, need to learn from Iran, the latest 'friend' we had over there. Those people will always be Muslims and enemies of the United States, no matter how many Americans die for them.

As long as we are in Iraq, there will be incidents like this one, American kids dying for nothing. Think about it. I hope you think about Iran every time an American kid is killed in Iraq and remember, it will always be like that as long as they are Muslims. Now, your life isn't on the line so don't worry about it; have a nice day!

Later...
