Fred Thompson for President?--Why not...

"Thompson Takes Bites Out of Giuliani, Romney..."

I certainly hope so! I speak of retired Conservative Republican Senator Fred Thompson. If some of you aren't familiar with him, he is the new District Attorney on the Law and Order program on TV.

Here's a photo of him.

And here are a few of his votes on crucial issues for you to consider with a link to his voting record site.

# Voted NO on adding sexual orientation to definition of hate crimes. (Jun 2002)
# Voted NO on loosening restrictions on cell phone wiretapping. (Oct 2001)
# Voted NO on expanding hate crimes to include sexual orientation. (Jun 2000)
# Voted NO on setting aside 10% of highway funds for minorities & women. (Mar 1998)
# Voted NO on ending special funding for minority & women-owned business. (Oct 1997)
# Voted YES on prohibiting same-sex marriage. (Sep 1996)
# Voted NO on prohibiting job discrimination by sexual orientation. (Sep 1996)
# Voted YES on Amendment to prohibit flag burning. (Dec 1995)
# Voted YES on limiting death penalty appeals. (Apr 1996),br> # Voted YES on limiting product liability punitive damage awards. (Mar 1996)
# Voted YES on restricting class-action lawsuits. (Dec 1995)
# Voted YES on repealing federal speed limits. (Jun 1995)

For my part, this is the best man of all the candidates, Republican or Democrat!(he's not one yet but he should be)He has great family values and good ideas on taxes, health care and just about everything else. If you agree, e-mail him and encourage him to run for the office of President of this Country.

There are 'Draft Fred Thompson' sites out there and they are busy! Here's a link to one.

I like this man. I think he is a good person and would make a fine president. I hope, if you feel the same way, you'll support him! Let's get it going and save this country!

Later...
