What Price Patriosm?...

Ask Malia Fontana.

A small American flag, tucked into the back right-hand pocket of her pants. And for that, the Fallbrook High School sophomore (Malia Fontana) was stopped by a security officer, taken to an assistant principal's office and written up in an incident report that was placed in her student file.
It seems the school officials have placed Patriotic American children in the same category as illegal aliens. First, God is dead in most schools and now, National Patriotism, too?

Now if patriotic Americans have as much moxey as the illegal immigrants, there'll be a mass exodus from that school until the school revises it's code of conduct. Maybe we should e-mail the staff writer of this article at: greg.moran@uniontrib.com (copy and paste) and let him know how we feel about this travesty.

'Viola!' I had to come back and remember to "Practice what I preach!"
Here is a copy of the e-mail I just sent to the reporter.

Mr Moran,
I just want to let you know that I, like most other Americans, feel school policies such as the one at Fallbrook High School that denies a student the right to express her patriotism by carrying the symbol of the United States, the American Flag, are only one in many policies that are presently eroding American values.

First, the attempt to kill God by not allowing His Name to be mentioned in school: Now, to deny a student the privilege of honoring our Nation; these things are going far to erode everything most of us hold dear and precious.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Here is a link to one of my weblogs if you'd care to visit.

Sincerely, James C XXXXXXXXX,
an American Patriot, an ex-Soldier and a retired truck driver who has been down the road and back and have seen it all! God Bless America!

Insert your own information (name, blog link, etc) in the place of mine and you can use this e-mail content if you wish. If you decide to e-mail the reporter, please let me know in my comment section. I'm curious.

Malia and her family have asked the ACLU for their assistance. It'll be interesting to see how far that goes. Maybe we can e-mail them, too.

Later...

It horrifies me that this is even up for debate! America should never come to the point that we cannot show our patriotism. Simply horrifying.

BWH is going to asking if you're still alive if you don't post something soon. By the way, are you?
