The Proof's in the Pudding...

The old saying,"The proof's in the pudding," is somehow appropriate here.
"We haven't heard even a whisper from you," Mohammed Mahdi Akef said. "You can't provide medicine and milk and the necessities of life to our besieged people in Palestine .... You take a hesitant stance toward their freely elected government, fearing the spread of the virus of freedom to your own fertile pastures."

This high ranking Muslim is speaking to all other Muslim nations in the area. I think the text of his message pretty well speaks for itself.

The saying, "The proof's in the pudding." Also, a popular talk show host said,"Words mean things." In the paragraph above, both sayings apply.

Mohammed Mahdi Akef said, "...spread of the virus of freedom..."

This guy thinks freedom is a virus and he is afraid it might spread in the Muslim Middle East. I think that reflects the thinking of all the Muslim leaders. They want the power to be with them as leaders and are afraid of individual freedoms.
It's too bad us Christians are too cowardly to speak up for ourselves and our military people. I'm sure Jesus doesn't want us to die in the defense of a bunch of Muslim devils!

Yesterday (or the day before) I heard a Muslim leader in Iraq state unequivocally that Iraq is in the midst of a civil war. If that's the case, folks, then it's time for us to come home. Personally I wouldn't know whether to kill Sunnis or Shiites. And I'd be afraid that I might be prosecuted by my own country if I accidently killed the wrong one.

It's time for President Bush to state publicly who he is for, the Sunnis or the Shiites, so our troops will know which ones to kill! We should insist that he do it now! That's the least we can do for our kids in Iraq fighting for someones'(?) freedom!

Isn't It Wonderful? Finally Peace Between Israel and Palestine...

"Israeli Forces Cut Water, Power in Gaza!..."

RAFAH, Gaza Strip (AP) -- Israel kept up the pressure on Palestinian militants to release a captive Israeli soldier Wednesday, sending its warplanes to bomb a Hamas training camp after knocking out electricity and water supplies for most of the 1.3 million residents of the Gaza Strip.

Palestine finally got what it wanted-a homeland of it's own so now there is peace between Palestine and Israel!

What a joke that is! Some people just never learn! The Iraqs should look at the Israeli-Palestine situation to see what it will be like in that country when the US military leaves. We, too, should Look!

Our Friends the Iraqis...

One of these days we will finish helping the Iraqis to become a free and independent state. Then we'll come home and Iraq will continue. Their government will run like a well oiled machine, with maybe a very small glitch here and there but nothing they can't handle.

We'll leave Iraq and turn the running of the new Nation to it's leaders and they will do a wonderful job for their citizens.

Right? ............ Right?"

That would be nice.

In 1947, after ruling over India and Pakistan and Lord only knows how many other needy nations, Great Britain (The Sun Never Sets - The British Empire...When the British Empire was at its height in the early 1900s, it included over 20 percent of the world's land area and more than 400 million people - the single largest empire in the history of the world since time began.) decided to turn over completely control of India to the Indians and Pakistan became free and independent. 'Boy, wasn't that great! Now we'll be independent and have a great time!

'oops'...Immediately the Muslims and Hindus started killing each other in a quest to control the nations that were now free.

During the killing of each other for years and thousands of Muslims and Hindus, the Muslims headed toward Pakistan and the Hindus headed toward India.

That is what is starting in Iraq right now between the Sunnis and the Shiites. It'll keep going on until one sect dominates the other, irregardless of what we do now and in the future. I guess, like the number of sneezes we have until we die, there must be a certain number of our kids who must be killed before we can presume a victory in Iraq. Right?... But, how many?

Give the Devil His Due...

"Executive Order: Protecting the Property Rights of the American People " I have to say, President Bush has finally done something right. By issuing this executive order, he has indicated he actually cares a smidgeon about the Constitution and the rights of American citizens.

Now if he'll do it again for the immigration situation and drilling and exploration in ANWAR and off the coasts of California, Florida and Texas, he might reserve for himself a place in the "Plus" side of history.

His problem now might be, now that the world knows the President can issue an executive order whenever he feels like it, why doesn't he do it more often?

The Republican Senate seems incapable of acting positively on important issues like the Immigration Bill so why does not Mr Bush do what he can to get it done, that is, issue an executive order making the bill law? It would not only get the job done but it would show the Congress that he will take matters into his own hands if they do not do their jobs and, maybe by doing that, he would force Congress to actually accomplish something instead of just posturing.

We'll see if this was real or just a single loaded round that accidently got mixed in with the blanks.

The Fat's In The Fire Now...

As the old saying goes, "The fat's in the fire now!" The fat being American brand Muslims that have "...given their lives to Allah."

Evidently some nut named Batiste is the leader of these stupid people.

"Batiste met several times in December 2005 with a person purporting to be an al-Qaida member and asked for boots, uniforms, machine guns, radios, vehicles and $50,000 in cash to help him build an "'Islamic Army' to wage jihad'," the indictment said. It said that Batiste said he would use his "soldiers" to destroy the Sears Tower."

What are these people thinking? I think they are all black men. That's the indication although it hasn't been stated yet in a news dispatch as far as I know. I guess the reporters are afraid they'll offend someone. However they sure didn't hesitate to declare the race of the white guy who was arrested at the beginning of this terrorist fiasco. Go figure!

I notice no black person of any mention has arisen in defense of this country by condemning these latest terrorists. Maybe I'll e-mail the Nation of Islam and ask what they think about these people. Their answer should be something to chuckle about.

Let's see how long it takes for Colin Powell or Al Sharpton or that black woman from Texas or Louis F. or Jesse Jackson to speak up about this. And see what they have to say. This should be good!

Well, It Has Started...

" MIAMI, Florida (CNN) -- Seven people are in custody after a sweep by law enforcement authorities in connection with an alleged plot against targets that may have included the Sears Tower, officials told CNN on Thursday."

The cops caught a bunch of people who are said to have been planning a terrorist attack on, possibly, the Sears Tower. You can read about it at this link.

Something about it that is really scary, though, is, in an earlier piece in the Drudge Report, the article said that one of the terrorists was an African American Muslim. Can it be that the American Islam Nation is now becoming members of the Al Quaida? Maybe someone needs to have a talk with Louis Ferrakhan. I wouldn't be surprised. Those people gave up a perfectly good God to follow Louis and the islam line of bull shit. They'll follow him straight to Hell.

And why did they pull that report and replace it with one that doesn't mention the African American US citizen? It's spooky.

I wonder if they at the Nation of Islam will have enough guts to go public if that is what is happening? I hope it's not true. They're already in line to find out how much hotter it is in Hell than here at home.

Lawyer Representing Saddam Hussein Killed...

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - One of Saddam Hussein's lawyers was shot to death Wednesday after he was abducted from his home by men wearing police uniforms in Baghdad, court and police officials said.

Was it terrorists at work again or was it Iraqi police?

"Al-Dulaimi blamed the Interior Ministry, which Sunnis have alleged is infiltrated by so-called Shiite death squads, for the killing."

Notice two key words at work here; Sunnis and Shiites. How can this be? The killers are supposed to all be terrorists. Shouldn't they be the only ones to blame for acts of murder such as this?

'oops'...not all blame goes on Sunnis and Shiites;

"We strongly condemn this act and we condemn the killings done by the Interior Ministry forces against Iraqis," he said, adding that 'U.S.-led forces also bore responsibility because the war had allowed Shiite militias to gain influence in Iraq.'

Now it's our fault, too, for not killing all of the right people, the Shiites.

You're welcome, Iraq. It's nice to be appreciated for our effort!

As we can see, it's started. Now it's beginning to be the fault of our military when the Sunnis and Shiites kill each other for control of Iraq. Go figure!

Donna and Chico the Wonder Dog Both ask...

"Why do you let it bother you so much? It's not as if you can do anything about it."

I suppose they're right but it's hard to just sit and watch Americans killed knowing that it won't make any difference in the long run. I send e-mails to the president and to my Rep's and Senators and sometimes I get answers.

I can't understand why the history of Islam doesn't seem to make any difference to anyone in authority here in the good old U S of A. It's easy to understand why some regular people like me might not be aware of the tenets of Islam; the meaning of the Koran to Muslims,- to all Muslims, but you'd think the President of the United States would know we can't change the beliefs of Muslims.

Mohammed thought up Islam and the Koran specifically to have a weapon to fight Jews and Christians. He killed thousands to force people to convert to Islam. No one even denys that much anymore. All anyone has to do is read the Koran to see it's just a bunch of mumbo-jumbo. It's terrible reading.

Maybe I should forget it and stop worrying about whether or not our kids get killed in Iraq. I just have trouble holding my foot on the railroad track when I know the train will cut it off. Maybe that's just me.

Our Boys Have Been Found...

"Bodies of Missing U.S. Soldiers Recovered"

The bodies of two U.S. soldiers reported captured last week have been recovered, and an Iraqi defense ministry official said Tuesday the men were "killed in a barbaric way." The U.S. military said the remains were believed to be those of Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, 23, of Houston, and Pfc. Thomas L. Tucker, 25, of Madras, Ore.

The missing soldiers have been found. Is anyone surprised they were killed? Is anyone surprised as to how they were Killed?

"Iraqi: U.S. Bodies Showed Signs of Torture"

An Iraqi military official said Tuesday that the bodies of two missing U.S. soldiers showed signs of torture, and that men appeared to have been killed "in a barbaric way." Also, the umbrella group for Iraqi insurgents claimed responsibility for the soldiers' deaths.

"We give the good news ... to the Islamic nation that we have carried God's verdict by slaughtering the two captured crusaders," said a statement in the name of the Mujahedeen Shura Council, which groups five insurgent organizations including al-Qaida in Iraq.

Remember the old saying, "He who does not learn from history is doomed to repeat it..."

I remember. Do you have any idea why you should remember that at this time? Of course you don't because it (evidently) doesn't bother you that our kids have to stay in Iraq and continue to be tortured and killed!

Let me refresh your memory and remind you why all this bullshit going on over there right now isn't going to make any difference.

I know some of you can remember when Iran was our bosom buddy, back in the 60s and early 70s and, when the Shah ran the place. Iran was considered one of the most democratic and open countries in the Middle East. We Americams even had companies there manufacturing and selling our products. BF Goodrich Tire Company is an example of that.

"During the 1960's through the early 1970's, Iran was regarded as one of the most open Middle Eastern countries with respect to foreign investment. Investment was sought via a bevy of tax incentives, import protections and guaranteed remitability of profits and investment capital. During this period foreign investors were allowed to hold majority stakes in their ventures and even when minority stakes were held, ownership influence was often boosted by management contracts that provided foreign partners decision making powers."

Then-'oops'-what happened? One day someone woke up and saw the people were becoming free and independent, not a good thing for an allah fearing Muslim. Then,...guess what?

"This state of affairs continued until 1975, with the issuance of legislation that not only declared that all major industrial companies sell 49% of their shares to their workers, farmers or the general public, but that also foreign ownership of Iranian industry be limited, with a maximum 35% equity stake in high technology industries, 25% in general manufacturing and 10% in traditional industrial sectors such as textiles. Following the overthrow of the Shah with the victory of the Islamic Revolution Terror Regime and the subsequent war with Iraq, foreign investment became almost non-existent."

Then in 1979 the Ayatollah Khomeini, the religious leader, took over the government of Iran and the rest is history.

Our friends, the Iranians, stormed the American Embassy and took everyone hostage and the rest is history. If the Hawk, Ronald Reagan, hadn't been elected, those Americans would probably still be captives or worse, be killed. The Ayatollah knew Reagan was a man of his word and would have nuked Iran so he released the hostages. That's the only thing those people understand.

Now all of you people who think Iraq will be a free democratic nation, a friend to the United States, if and when this is all over, need to learn from Iran, the latest 'friend' we had over there. Those people will always be Muslims and enemies of the United States, no matter how many Americans die for them.

As long as we are in Iraq, there will be incidents like this one, American kids dying for nothing. Think about it. I hope you think about Iran every time an American kid is killed in Iraq and remember, it will always be like that as long as they are Muslims. Now, your life isn't on the line so don't worry about it; have a nice day!

Oil Well Drilling Rigs Effect On Wildlife...

What's happening here? Are the oilfield workers rounding the poor deer and caribou up to slaughter them for food?... No?...Well what do you suppose is happening here?

I'll tell you what's happening. The animals get as close as they can to the rigs to help alleviate the mosquito problem. The skeeters aren't as bad near the oil derricks. How about that!

Iraqis Killing Our Troops...Now We'll Kill Them?...

Lawyers: Threats Used Against Marines

"Pentagon investigators threatened the death penalty and used other coercive techniques to obtain statements from some of the seven Marines and a Navy corpsman jailed for the shooting death of an Iraqi civilian, two defense lawyers say.

Attorney Jane Siegel, who represents Marine Pfc. John Jodka, 20, said Naval Criminal Investigative Service officials spoke to her client three times after he was taken into custody May 12. Jodka was questioned for up to eight hours at a time and was not offered water or toilet breaks, Siegel said.

It didn't just start with this but it looks like now even our own military is treating our kids like criminals. and, according to the defense attornies, without even according the soldiers the same rights as any common criminal.

"They used some really heavy-handed tactics to extract the information," Siegel said, adding that her client was not read his rights prior to questioning _ a fundamental right to which all accused troops are entitled _ and was threatened with the death penalty."

What is happening here now? Are our troops becoming as bad as the terrorists? If they are, why are they? Everyone who believes that, stand on your heads and pick your teeth with your toenails! What a crock this is!

Wait!-there's more!

" The Pentagon began investigating shortly after an Iraqi man was killed on April 26 in Hamdania, west of Baghdad. Military officials have said little publicly about the man's death, but a senior Pentagon official with direct knowledge of the investigation said evidence so far indicates troops entered the town in search of an insurgent and, failing to find him, grabbed an unarmed man from his home and shot him.

After the killing, the troops planted a shovel and an AK-47 rifle at the scene to make it appear the man was trying to plant an explosive device, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

The Pentagon originally said the incident occurred in Hamandiyah but officials later acknowledged they had misidentified the town and that the incident happened in Hamdania.

They aren't even sure where this was to have taken place. You need to read carefully the account of what is supposed to have happened.

"...troops entered the town in search of an insurgent and, failing to find him, grabbed an unarmed man from his home and shot him. After the killing, the troops planted a shovel and an AK-47 rifle at the scene to make it appear the man was trying to plant an explosive device, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity..."

I'm not surprised the official doesn't want anyone to know who he is. What is going on with our kids who went over there voluntarily and put their lives on the line to defend us from terrorism?

What does this sound like: " Until Thursday the Marines and Navy corpsman were held at a maximum level of security at Camp Pendleton and were shackled whenever they left their cells. Their security level now has been reclassified to a lower level and they are allowed one hour's recreation daily without shackles, Camp Pendleton spokesman Lt. Lawton King said."

How much more will our kids be subjected to in their quest to protect us? It's up to you people to decide!

What a Disappointment Bush Is...

to everyone who is concerned about illegals, Mexicans and potential terrorists, coming into the country from the south!

Here is a man who is at the beck and call of Vicente Fox, the president of Mexico but can't meet with the people who are charged with keeping our southern border safe.

Bush will meet with Fox anytime the Mexican president asks him to, but;

Bush snubs border sheriffs... President refuses to meet coalition as lawmakers prepare hearings.

Sara A. Carter Staff Writer says: "President Bush has refused to meet with border law enforcement officials from Texas for a second time. His response to their request came in the form of a letter Monday, angering both lawmakers and sheriffs."

What a disappointment this man has been as a president. Since he took office, we have the highest budget deficit in years and the highest trade deficit in history.

" The yawning U.S. trade deficit grew wider in June, hitting $58.8 billion for the month, chiefly due to soaring oil prices and a surge of textiles and apparel from China. It was the third-highest monthly deficit on record and exceeded economists' projections by more than $1 billion."
Our overall trade deficit with China is over 200 billion bucks and Bush does nothing about it. China manipulates its' currency so that country outstrips the US in trade profits us at every turn and Bush continues to allow that to happen.

The president must thank God every day for allowing him to have the war on terror to help him appear to be president. Thank God he cannot run again for the office he now disgraces!

General Caldwell Discussing el-Zarqawi...

I was just watching a news program on Fox News of a news conference of General Caldwell discussing, among other things, the death of the terrorist leader, el-Zarqawi. One reporter asked a question that had to do with how the death of the terrorist leader would affect the stability of Iraq, Baghdad in particular.

To paraphrase; "How will this affect Iraq and the Iraqi people in respect to the US leaving and the Iraqis controlling the country?"
His answer was one of the best I have heard. He said,(in my words)"That will depend on the Iraqi policeforce and militarys' actions to control the insurgents and the Iraqi people deciding they have had enough of the insurgents and changing their attitudes about their country and how it is run."

When you think about that statement, what jumps out from it is "the Iraqi people deciding they have had enough of the insurgents and changing their attitudes about their country and how it is run."

That doesn't sound like much to us but for people who have no determination of the course of things but are ruled by what their leaders determine is their interpretation of their Muslim law, it's huge.

The question is how long it will take to re-educate a people to not only understand the meaning of but to actually implement democratic freedom, something about which they have little conception.

Folks, if that is what it will take to bring our people home, you military dependents better just pack your bags and go over there if you want to be with your loved ones.

Yeah, I know: Poo-Poo on me! Maybe so but I recall two other wars where our kids were to come home 'right after the war.' Korea and Vietnam. Sure they'll come home 'right after the war.' 'oops'...Les see, now...the Korean War has now been going on for 56 years. That must be right because our kids aren't home yet. And just forget Vietnam. And the bill for Iraq ,et al, has just topped a trillion bucks! (if money means anything to you)

Make up your own mind but think about it and check things out before you do. It's easy (and a cop-out) to just parrot other people who say, "If you want the troops to come home right now, you're un-patriotic and don't support them!" or some other ridiculous bull shit. Our Muslim friends in Iraq and Afghanistan are never going to be 'just like us' just because we want them to, even though they would be better off. Think about it.

House Approves Oil Drilling in ANWR...

Good news from the House of Representatives, right? Maybe,-it depends on what the Senate does. We really need the oil but the Senate has had a problem with giving a shit about what we need. The House passed the same resolution in 2003 and the Senate blocked it.Barbara Boxer tacked an amendment onto the budget bill that would defeat the House vote and, sure enough, the Senate voted for her amendment and the bill was defeated. Her amendment passed, 52 to 48.

"The eight Republicans who voted against oil development were Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe, both of Maine; Lincoln Chafee of Rhode Island; Gordon Smith of Oregon; Mike DeWine of Ohio; Peter Fitzgerald of Illinois; John McCain of Arizona, and Coleman."

And although five Democrats voted in favor of drilling, the 'no's' had it.

"Democrats who voted against Boxer's amendment were John Breaux and Mary Landrieu, both of Louisiana; Daniel Akaka and Daniel Inouye, both of Hawaii, and Zell Miller of Georgia. All five had voted in favor of drilling last year as well."

It'll be interesting to see which Senators vote for or against drilling this time. That could be a good thing on which to base a vote for or against your Senators when the time comes.

U.S. to Give Iran Nuclear Technology...

Well, here we go again! Where will it end? Looks like Bush has caved in just like Iran figured he would. Bush knows Iran will never live up to any agreement they make. I tell ya', this f***ing guy is gonna have us in the drink yet.

Of all the give-aways, this has to rank with the top two or three at least.

Jimmy Carter gives away the Panama Canal.

Great Britain gives away Hong Kong.

Bill Clinton gives Communist China our top secret missile guidance system. (at least he was sneaky about it) Now they can get a missile with atomic warheads on it all the way to the good old U S of A, thanks to Bill and his accomplice, his Sec'y of State, Ms Albright.

Many of our high tourist vacation sites, such as Yosemite National Park are run by Chinese and Japanese. (Unless that has changed and I don't think it has)

I'll keep this short so it doesn't appear to be a tirade.

And this country acts like it's afraid to hurt anyones' feelings, no matter what they do.

Remember the traitor, Wen Ho Lee, the scientist at Livermore Lab who took top secret information home he had on his computer (he says he just needed something to read while he was taking a crap) and didn't remember until he got caught?

Well, now we're apologizing to him for telling everyone about his crime of treason and, -you know what else - we're paying him for us saying anything about it!

The stupidity of this country is amazing! But just try getting a business entertainment allowance on your income tax! No way, dummy! That's worse than any treason! You pay up or you go to jail!

That's enough for now!

Clear This Up Once And For All...

It looks like someone needs to clear up the War in Iraq, once and for all.

President Bush said Saddam Hussein and his people were aiding the Al Quaida. He said the Iraqi President was manufacturing, stockpiling and distributing weapons of mass destruction, poison gasses and germs and the like.

He said Hussein was killing his own people and was not abiding by the UN terms of non-proliferation and access to the country by inspectors as he had agreed to after the first Gulf War. (I should say,'First Gulf Skirmish')

I agree with him on all counts and, as near as I can remember, those were the only reasons Bush gave for invading Iraq; i.e., to protect the US from future attacks by terrorists that would be supported by the Hussein regime.

Now, if anyone can find another reason Bush gave for invading Iraq, I'd sure like to hear it. Pleaser post it right here on my comments site and put a link to it.

Now, Hussein is gone, there are no weapons of mass destruction, (I believe hussein had them shipped out just before we went in) all Al Quaida 'nests' that we know of (there weren't many as near as we could tell) have been destroyed.

Then Bush decided to stay until the new leaders of Iraq could hold elections and write a constitution and the country could train policemen and soldiers. (I agree with that, too)

Now someone, please tell me which of the things we agreed to do for the people of Iraq, have we not done. I'm checking things over and I can't find anything left for us to do that we agreed to do. I don't think we wanted to kill Sunnis so Shiites could get in office and I'm sure we didn't mean to visa-versa either. Whether or not anyone wants to admit it, there is a civil war going on in Iraq right now. Otherwise the Iraqis would only try to kill Americans instead of killing their own people.

Now, in case anyone is interested, my opinion on what should have been done to all those people over there is to nuke the whole lot of them and get it over with. As long as there is a Muslim in the world, there will be a jihad (that's a holy war) against everyone else, particularly Christians and Jews. Mohammed hated Jews and Christians and made this Islam crap up primarily to kill Jews and Christians. Muslims are not supposed to like Christians and Jews. That's a matter of record and you can find in their own holy book, the Koran, at 'Dinner Table'-5:51

"[5.51] O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people."

So, there you have it. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong about anything I writwe here. (fat chance) If you tell me I am mistaken, please put a link to a Bush speech or something that else that shows your statement is a fact, not just your opinion.

Now I've gotta go to a jam session!

Kerry Attacks Bush Over Iraq Policies

These news items were all found on one page of a popular news web site. Out of thirty two articles, ten were about the military.

Wait, you say, one is about a dog handler here in the states and one is repeated and one is about what John Kerry thinks! (I hate to say it but I agree with Kerry) Maybe so but it has become obvious that there is a feeding frenzy on and our soldier boys and girls are the fodder and I think it stinks!

We should have brought them home as soon as the Iraqis voted in their government. The Iraqis should thrash out their own problems now that we have gotten rid of Hussein. It's their country, after all!

And besides that, in a year it'll be just like it was when Hussein ran the country. Those people are Muslims and will never get along with us or anyone else. The people over there are stupid and will always allow some imam to tell them what to do, just like the Iranians do!

Folks, are we going to just sit by and let our soldiers be made scape goats of everything that happens in Iraq? Are we going to stand by and allow our kids to take the blame for all kinds of imagined atrocities in Iraq? We're supposed to be in a war and helping those stupid people! Why is there such a desire to diss our folks who are fighting and dying for us and for the Iraqis?

Let's face it; the war is over and has been for a year now. We need to forget all this bull shit the media and people who hate us and our troops are spouting!

"I was in WWII and the Korean War. I shot and killed about seventeen (I lost count) German soldiers in France and I killed about twenty three North Koreans, six with a hand grenade I threw into a bunker, and only God knows how many more than the ones I counted. I acted as a forward observer for an artillery piece that blasted a second story apartment that housed six German soldiers. It turned out, there was a woman and her kid in there, too. Sometimes that happens.

I got a Bronze Star for heroism in France and a Silver Star for Bravery in Korea. For killing about forty six enemy soldiers and at least two civilians, probably more, I was considered a hero. No one wrote anything bad about me. Like this in Iraq is, that was war and people died."

I didn't do all that, of course, but I could have, at least the Korean part, but a lot of men did and hundreds of thousands died doing it to defend our country. A few sore heads gave our boys and girls a bad time about those wars but, for the most part, they were and still are heroes, just like our kids in Iraq and Afghanistan are heroes.

But now, almost every day there are dozens of articles about them, saying how bad they are and they are killers and every soldier who has killed someone, anyone, should be investigated and prosecuted. In wars, people die and we can't always pick and choose who it is.

Folks, we need to get off our asses now and make Bush bring our folks home while they are still heroes, before anymore get punished for doing what we sent them there to do! Those people over there will never be like we are and it's stupid to think we can make them.

Let's sacrifice a little now by contacting everyone who is anyone and demanding they protect our kids who are sacrificing a lot so we can do what we are doing right now! I think they're worth it, don't you? OK, let's prove it!

Boy, I can just hear those phone calls and see those e-mails going out to the Pres and VP and our Reps and Sens! Way to go, folks! If we all pull together and bother them enough, they'll bring our kids home where they belong!

By e-mail, a copy and paste of this article will reach the President and Vice President today with a link to my Blog. I hope it pisses them off enough to take offense and try to do something about me! I believe that's what it takes!
